Anyone who has done Varicocele surgery please?

Haven't had it done. But I'd guess this was normal, you just didn't notice it at first because of the ice. I suggest you start using the pain medication the doctor prescribed and if he didn't call him on that! And you may want to go back on the ice for awhile. The varicocele probably was wrapped around your left testicle and had to be peeled off. I never say pain is normal, but it should have been expected. Quit checking it for size, I'm sure it doesn't want to be manipulated now. Lessen your activity, may need to elevate it with a small towel.

it'll be tender for a while, but to be honest, the most annoying part for me was those stupid staples in my frikken stomach.

but, um...the good news is that your varicocele won't be getting any bigger...
my swollen veins are still there, but they shrunk a little bit, and they don't hurt at all.
how long did you go before telling anyone about it? i waited really late, so mine got a lot bigger than normal.

but don't let me bring ya down. there's still a chance that yours will go away completely.
ask your Dr at the next follow up.
