How long untill swelling goes away? (urology)?

The swelling is likely fluid buildup from the surgery. If it has not gone away after a few days, it may need to be drained.I had a hydrocelotomy 2 weeks ago today and only since about 3 or 4 days ago did the swelling go down significantly. Its now at the point where its back down to pretty much normal size with no pain whatsoever.

I'm still bandaged up since my recovery had complications but it is unrelated to what you have had done (though trauma sustained to the scrotum is similar in both operations).

Unless there is unbearable pain after taking your prescribed painkillers or swelling increases further after the 3rd or 4th day it would be best to wait until your post-op checkup (usually about 1 week after surgery) and consult the doctor then if things haven't improved.

Hang in there, you'll get through it eventually. Its one of the worst procedures to go through and the swelling and bruising is horrendous as you no doubt know already but it will get better, i assure you!Is it too soon to masturbate for me?

It's a normal question for them, actually if you do masturbate and hurt yourself, you could sue them for not telling you about the complications of masturbation with the surgeries.Gently massage your entire groin area, if you feel any discomfort or pain, even mild pain, it's probably best if you were to hold off on that for a little while longer.
If you have no pain or discomfort, go for it!you should ask the surgeon/s who did the operations. only they can know when you are healed. i'd just call them over the phone and ask how long before you can engage in intercourse. that way, it probably wouldnt be as embarrassing.

im guessing you'd be ok, but still double check with the doctors. and obviously, if theres any discomfort once you do try, dont try it again for a little while. i hope everything works out!
