Generally they have to do minor surgery. But if you were diagnosed just do as the Doctor tells you.It won't go away by itself. Generally speaking it will get bigger, but often it will reach a certain size and then stay like that (although just because it appears to have stopped growing doesn't mean it won't begin t grow again sometime in the future).

They can do a surgical procedure called embolization which will stop it from getting bigger and the vein will atrophy and should return to normal size. I had this procedure done a little over a month ago and it's very simple, little pain and short recovery time.
