Do you think I have testicular cancer?
Do you think I have testicular cancer?
Your very young to have cancer. It sounds like a bad case of blue balls to me. I know the pain your talking about. I used to get it a lot when I was your age.Simply having pain is not a symptom of testicular cancer. It is most likely torsion. You testicles should not be able to recede into your abdomen you should see a urologist.Testicular cancer rarely causes any pain. Go see a urologist.By the sounds of your additional details, its almost as if you've already made your mind up.
Go to urologist ASAP.I don't think you have testicular cancer because the main symptom is a painless lump on the testicle. You haven't mentioned anything about a lump. The receding testicle isn't really a worry as long as you can get the testicle back down and it doesn't stay receded. Some pain that comes and goes is normal as it could be due to lots of different things that involve movement (exercise, stretching, etc). It's when the pain stays or is bad that it becomes a worry. If you are very worried and can't calm down until you are checked by a doctor, then you should see your doctor.Didn't have testicular "catch up growth" after a varicocelectomy?
I had the same surgery last summer...I'm 16 now. I don't think it's too much to worry about, although if it really concerns you, you should go see your doctor about it.To reassure yourself, go to your Dr. ask to have your semen tested for the number of active, healthy spermatozoa. I had a varicocelectomy along with a hydocoelectomy at age 23 and had no problem fathering children
