why do varicoceles happen?

I've attached a link with an explanation of how they are formed, and other information about them.

They are similar to varicose veins that older people tend to get in their legs, in as much as there is a restriction in the return blood flow.

It's probably better of you read through the information in the link, rather than me just copy it out here.Varicoceles, and Semen Analysis?? Help!?
