http://www.masterbation-forum.com/forum/As a testicular cancer survivor, I suggest that you do the "man exam," or self-exam for testicular cancer. There can be a lot of different symptoms, but testicle lumping or swelling is pretty common. Remember, the sooner a doctor can catch it the better the outcome, and most likely the less treatment will be required. The doctor's test is quick and painless, a simple ultrasound, so it's really no big deal going to the doctor. This site has links to credible testicular cancer resources, and shows the self-exam with a list of symptoms. Hopefully it's nothing serious. Good luck and take care.

Facts on Varicocele
Article by Vasudeva Rao
Following are some facts on Varicocele (sometimes misspelt as vericocele. French - varicocèle) in very simple terms.
Due to the structure of human body, veins present in our lower body experience more pressure than those in the upper part. Middle aged people may sometimes observe veins on their calf muscles bulging and being visible to naked eye. Groin regions experience a great amount of pressure from the upper body combined with a slightly higher temperature due to the juncture. Vericoceles are nothing but veins (in the groin region) that carry blood in and out of the testicles in an abnormally expanded state.
Veins that are supposed to carry blood out of the testicles have a valve that prevents back flow of the blood. But due to the above mentioned reasons the valve fails to operate, thus allowing the back flow of the blood. This results in the enlargement of these veins and since there are multiple veins in a network, they seem like a bunch of worms when expanded.
Remedy:
Varicocele is one of the very common male problems that is found usually between the age of 15-25. One should not mentally panic as this can be very easily controlled and rarely needs medical attention. Also, recent research work has implied that there is no evident link between Varicocele and infertility. Unless the situation is quite worse with a lot of pain and the veins being very tender varicocele has not proven to be harmful. Following are some tips that have proven to be very helpful in controlling varicocele. Each tip covers one of the concerns of Varicocele - Coagulation, Pressure and Temperature
Coagulation - As the problem is because of improper flow of blood, no excercise for the body aggravates the situation. Sitting idle for hours will cause a coagulating effect on the blood that is not flowing. People who do desk work should avoid sitting continuously for hours and should walk intermittently. 20-30 minutes of lively work out (jogging, swimming) is very advantageous as it will promote rigorous flow of blood throughout the body (very similar to when you flow hot water through water pips to avoid icing).
Pressure - As already discussed, upright position of the human body is not helpful for the veins of the lower body. Relieving this pressure for even a few minutes is helpful. Although sleeping relieves this pressure, it does not reverse the effects as the body is only horizontal. Also, sleeping on your stomach is harmful for a varicocele as the pressure is back on the veins. Some of Yoga postures are very advantageous in this regard. Pictures of few very useful Yoga postures are provided in my blog for reference. Note - Yoga postures have health prerequisites and should not be performed by everyone. Please refer to yoga websites to know if you may practice these postures.
Temperature - It is advised that cold water is applied on the varicocele veins at least once a day for a few minutes. Swimming is one of the best remedies as this combines the effects of cold water and blood flow.
Other factors - Varicocele veins should not exprience too much tension because of hanging testicles. So inner wears should not be worn too lose. Abdomen excercises should be avoided. Such excercises stimulate high amount of blood flow in the abdomen region exerting an abnormal pressure on the veins. This may generate some pain.
