go see a general surgeon or ask your doc to refer you to someone,
or self refer. It needs to be fixed eventually. Your doc has a hydrocele of his brain...Go to a different doctorif the doctor doesnt, what makes you think yahoo answers is the right place to look? id trust the doctor over anyone on here...Ask to be referred to a UROLOGIST!!!!! NOW!


A hydocele or varioceal can be dealt with by a urologist.

I don't think it's cancer. Have you got or had a hernia in the groin before as that can sometimes cause hydroceles?

Your testes will usually work perfectly well after having a hydrocele drained! Ignore scare stories!

Some docs may want to see if they go away of their own accord. However if they become uncomfortable, huge or interfere with your life then surgery will be needed.

My son had one aged 6 and had to have a groin hernia repaired AND then the hydrocele went on its ownSounds like you may have a hydrocele/varicocele. Most likely it will go away on its own, eventually. If it gets REALLY uncomfortable, you could have it worked on surgically, but there is no guarantee your "equipment" will function correctly after that...Change doctors first off, make sure you go to a urologist.
Anytime you are still concerned especially regarding a lump get a second opinion.
